Featured Event: Join us Friday, October 10 for an entertaining presentation by Licensed Battlefield Guide James A. Hessler on "Dan Sickles: His Life and Legacy." Explore one of the Civil War's most controversial figures—from his infamous murder of Philip Barton Key to his seeming disobedience at Gettysburg and post-battle attempts to declare himself the "Hero of Gettysburg." Whether you love to hate Sickles or hate to love him, Hessler will explain why he remains monumental to the Gettysburg story. Dinner at 6:15 pm, presentation at 7:15 pm. Virtual attendance available via Zoom.
Campaign 67 Launch Success: Over 50 members attended September's kickoff with Wayne Motts discussing U.S. Army Regulars at Gettysburg. The unique "Square Table" Q&A session allowed ten members to engage with Motts on topics from museum plans to virtual reality.
