Since 1959, the Harrisburg Civil War Round Table has hosted distinguished historians, authors, and scholars who share their expertise with our passionate membership. We invite qualified speakers to present engaging lectures on Civil War history, campaigns, personalities, and preservation.
What We Offer: Engaged audience of 50-100+ Civil War enthusiasts, professional venue with full A/V support, book sales opportunity, and honorarium for qualified speakers.
Program Format: 45-60 minute presentation followed by Q&A, held on the third Friday of each month.
Topics We Welcome: Eastern Theater campaigns, military leadership and strategy, social and political history, battlefield preservation, local Civil War connections, and emerging scholarship.
