Featured Event: Join us Friday, November 7 for our annual Veterans Day salute and a presentation by Lead Ranger Dan Welch on "David Wills & the Creation of the National Cemetery." Learn how this prominent Gettysburg attorney worked tirelessly from July 1863 through July 1869 to ensure Union soldiers had a fitting final resting place—including proposing the dedication ceremony and providing President Lincoln a quiet room to finish his "few appropriate remarks." Dinner at 6:15 pm, presentation at 7:15 pm. Virtual attendance available via Zoom.
Veterans Honored: All veterans attending our dinner will receive a free meal courtesy of the Round Table. Veterans are encouraged to wear their medals. Please invite a veteran as your guest!
Important RSVP Change: Beginning with our December meeting, Central Penn College requires dinner reservations by noon on the Sunday TWO WEEKS before each event (instead of one week). December 5 reservations must be made by November 23.
Field Trip Updates: Fall trip "On the Trail of Jeb Stuart's Cavaliers" (October 25) is sold out with one seat remaining. Spring 2026 South Mountain trip (May 2) is completely sold out—waiting list available through Steve Williamson.
Treasurer Transition: Robbie Kribell concludes her service as Treasurer after November's meeting. The Round Table thanks her for tireless and admirable service.
