Featured Event: Join us Friday, January 23 for our first engagement of 2026, a presentation by retired Gettysburg National Military Park ranger John S. Heiser on "Neglected & Forlorn: The Legend of the Army Mule." Heiser recounts the long-overlooked story of the mule's vital logistical role for both armies during the Civil War and beyond. Dinner at 6:15 pm, presentation at 7:15 pm. Virtual attendance available via Zoom (please join by 7:00 pm).
President's Message: Mo Becker rings in the New Year at the halfway point of our 67th campaign, celebrating an extraordinary slate of speakers and reminding us that every member is a recruiter as we look to grow the Round Table in 2026.
Spring Field Trip Update: Our May 2, 2026 trip to South Mountain — Crampton's Gap, Turner's Gap, and Fox's Gap, guided by Dennis E. Frye — is sold out! A waiting list has been started; contact Steve Williamson to be added.
Upcoming Programs: Preview our Campaign 67 spring lineup, including Bennett Parten on Sherman's March (Feb. 20), Rev. Dr. Nancy Jill Hale on Union Chaplains at Gettysburg (Mar. 13), Steven Stotelmyer on the Maryland Campaign (Apr. 10), and A. Wilson Greene's Nye-Sommers Lecture on the Battle for Petersburg (May 15).
