About the event
Our fall field trip, War is No Picnic: The First Battle of Bull Run, takes place Saturday, October 24. Dr. Bradley M. Gottfried, author of The Maps of First Bull Run, will guide us. We will explore the terrain where the first major land battle of the Civil War was fought in mid-July of 1861.
